Want a more just and sustainable society? Want to live with a stronger sense of purpose? Want to make a difference? Most of us do, but it can be hard to know where to start. We suggest you start small, and close to home. On this page you’ll find a list of links to grassroots organizations, large and small, that are doing important work. Maybe they will inspire you to sign a petition or sign up to volunteer somewhere, maybe they’ll encourage you to put on a documentary screening in your neighbourhood. It’s not so much where you start that matters, but that you start. Why? Because taking action is empowering.
Perhaps the best way to fuel your urge to take action is to educate yourself.
